My First Challenge

Took part in my first challenge today over on the Do Craft web site. Every week is a Penny Black challenge based on a letter of the alphabet. This week it's the letter M. M for Mice, Make a wish, and Metal flowers. The extra challenge was to use mulitple stamps so I used the cheesecake wish stamp, butterfly stamps and a sentiment stamp.

Made this card today with a little stamp I bought from ebay the other day. I thought he was soooo cute! Have inked around the image which is something I don't usually do but think I messed it up. I forgot to ink the image before I matted and layered then tried to do both at once. Ah well, you learn from your mistakes, and I am only a learner after all lol!

Won A Prize!

I entered one of my first Pink Petticoat cards in a competition with Making Cards and Papercraft Online. You had to design a Spring Bithday Card and this was the one I entered. The best 20 would win £50 worth of Fiskars equipment. Imagine my surprise when a parcel arrived a few weeks later! My card is going to be featured in Quick Cards Made Easy which goes on sale April 24th.

Pink Petticoat

I decided after making the halloween card I should try a few christmas cards. I made them all for family and friends including personal ones for close family members. I found each card I made was better than the last. My husband bought me a cuttlebug for Christmas which I love. After Christmas the card making continued. I made my granddaughters christening card and her first birthday card and lots of other cards for friends and family. About six weeks ago I discovered Pink Petticoat and bought my first cd Lola and her little sister Lilli.

This was the first Pink Petticoat card I made.

My First Card

October 2007 was my middle sons 28th birthday. I was sorting through some old photos and I found a photograph of him with his brother and sister at his 8th Halloween birthday party. I thought it would be a good idea to make him a birthday card with the photo and here is the result. I know it's a rubbish card but it was my first ever and my son loved it! I like to think I have come on a bit since then though lol

My New Blog

Well here is my blog I have finally made one after thinking about it for the last couple of weeks!
