Airbrushed Christmas Card

I have been playing with my Letrajet Air Marker System again and I am realy pleased with the results!

I cut the flower shapes with my 'Poinsettia' Shapeabilities

I stamped the snowflakes with Memento Ink 'Rich Cocoa'

I airbrushed around the shapes when they where still inside the dies with a Gold Metalic ProMarker

I also airbrushed the edges of the cardstock with the same pen

Simple but effective!

Hubby said I should have stamped the snowflakes evenly onto each petal

.......but I wanted to give the effect of them being cut from a patterened paper

He sees everything with an engineers eye even art lol!

A Different Christmas Card

Here is another different style card from me today

Not quite sure what the style is but I am a big admirer of Terrie Bailey's work

........so I tried to make something with a similar feel to it

 I think I need more practice....maybe it is too neat........but I did enjoy making this

Quick Dry Embossed Christmas Card

I have been playing with my cuttlebug today and shapeabilities 'Creat a Flake 1'

I have made a quick and simple Christmas card using the dies to 'Dry Emboss' the cardstock

To dry emboss  use 'A' Plate at the bottom, 'B' Plate, Rubber mat red side up, Card stock, die emboss side face down then 'B' Plate

This way you can see where you are embossing your cardstock .......it's your usual embossing sandwich in reverse with the 'A' still at the bottom of course

Our 3yr old grandaughter Mimi has gone home today

We live 120 miles away from her and she stayed with us for the weekend.

It was her first visit without her parents

Saturday was a bit of a washout here in worcestershire.......but yesterday was beautiful

Here are some photos from yesterday taken in the grounds of a pub restaurant where we had our lunch
