Spider been caught tonight by hubby in the hallway
He looked very much like the Craftroom Spider (well I hope it is lol!)
I noticed Gem sniffing a black ball then she stood back (she is such a gentle little soul)
Then the spider unfurled and made a quick dash for freedom.....to be caught by hubby armed with a handful of toilet paper
No need to worry now.....until next time lol
It is the time of year when they come inside as the evenings get cooler
I know I am such a wuss but they terrify me

Janet I'm exactly the same and they generally come in and have spider parties in my house!! Rarely do we have 1 more like 3-4! Glad that one has been caught for now thogh! Hugs Rebekah xx

Me too I'm absolutly terrified of spiders. Never thought what crafting caz said. I better tidy up my craft table incase its lurking about lol.

I'm with you, Janet. Hate 'em. Try this: We live in the country and used to get ARMIES of the buggers, till someone told me that conkers do the trick. So we collected a load last autumn and put them in all the corners of all rooms... and we haven't had a big black spider since. We still get the ones with the tiny body and legs like hair, but they don't freak me out anywhere near as much. Our little Westie is good at leaving the conkers alone, but you may need to keep an eye on Gem. Worth a shot? Hugs (and hero-worship to your hubby for being so brave!) Debs x
Oh Janet you our so not alone I HATE spiders, I try my hardest not to freak out when my daughter is around as I dont want to pass on my fear but sometimes you just cant help it. If they are only small I can deal with them but the big ones hurendous, I only live a few streets away from my dad and usually have to get him to come and get the big ones lol So I am a wuss I admit it lol

Thats alright Janet, my hubby has a plastic box and lid and goes spider hunting for me to, he doesnt really like popping them outside but its where in my eyes spiders belong. With love and hugs Shirleyxxx
