Make A CAS Card............

.......Who ME?

My mojo has been lacking recently so I thought I would ease it in with something simple.

I decided to have a go at 'The Less Is More' Challenge which is to follow this sketch

I always struggle with CAS cards as I think there is always something missing lol

Anyway I bit the bullet and this is what I came up with.....I was tempted to reach for the adesive pearls though!

The Rose was made using Spellbinders - Donna Salazar - Rose Creations which you can find here and Nestabilities - Fleur De Lis Squares here

....a touch of Distress Ink and Glamour Dust and Voila!

Roses, Roses

After visiting Lee's beautiful blog 'A Wee bit of Craftyloops' I realised I am not getting the best from my Spellbinders - Donna Salazar - Rose Creations Die

............so this afternoon I have been having a little play

Lee is famous for her fabulous flowers but she directs us here to 'Such a Pretty Mess' for the tutorial.

They are quite easy to make and although they are not quite as good as Lee's and the ones on the tutorial blog......I am still quite pleased for my first attempt :)

They would probably be better with thinner material but I am a lover of linen card.

The two white ones have been made from sparkly vellum

New Guest DT

I had a bit of a misshap with the cheeks.......after I had dabbed white acrylic paint on them I decided I didn't like it and tried to wipe it off again lol.

Do you ever do things when crafting and then wish you hadn't?

I am sure you do lol.

It was too late in the day yesterday to make another image especially had I had spent so long on it with the Glamour Dust and Flower Soft!

Gem Update

Gem is a now a  lot better thank goodness!

I thought I was taking a trip to the vets yesterday morning as she was till making the strange noise although not quite as weezy.

She refused her breakfast and wouldn't go out into the garden to toilet despite not having relieved herself for 24 hours!

I put my shoes on so I could carry her out into the garden when she came up to me with tale wagging. I asked her if she wanted to 'Go Walkies' and her tale wagged more.

Took her out......well she was like another dog!

She barked when she heard other dogs barking in the distance....she tried to chase cats, ducks anything that moved......she pulled on her harness like nobodys business lol.

Then she came back and scoffed her breakfast.

She still makes the noise now and again but it is not as strong and less frequent.

I am wondering if she caught some sort of cold virus in the kennels as the skin on her tummy was very hot the first morning when she was very poorly

Anyway what ever it was she is well on the mend now.....but she gave us a bit of a fright!

EDITED :- She gets vaccinated every year against  Kennel Cough

School Girl Mimi

Got back from Santorini last night.....holiday blues setting in :(

Good news is 9 months to Mykonos Yay!!!

Going to pick my fur baby up from the Kennels in a bit so seeing her little face will cheer me up!

Our grandaughter Mimi started her first day at big school last  Monday.

Sunset From Oia

We first visited Santorini 3 years ago and we don't usualy visit the same place twice.

It's such a beautiful island we just had to return......I think it called us back somehow.

The view of the Caldera is breathtaking and we think it must be one of the most beautiful sights in the world.

The Santorini sunsets are just stunning.

We had our evening meal in beautiful Oia last night in a roof top restaurant and watched the sun go down.

If you like Greek islands and you have never visited Santorini before it is well worth a visit and one you would never forget!
