Want A Laugh!

Yes I can here you giggling from here lol!
Here is my first Fimo character.......this is not as easy as it looks!
Got the baking bit right.....it's the creating part I need practice with rofl
Made a mistake with the eyes....the Fimo ones didn't look quite right so tried to get them/dig them out
Which you can't do with Fimo I discovered
I then  put beads in so we will pretend the marks around them are eyelashes lol
Everytime I picked him up I managed to nail mark the poor thing
I need to find a good book to help me or even better have some Fimo lessons!

I am having a terrible time trying to comment on other peeps blogs
I have been trying to say thank you to Poppet & Claire for their Fimo tips for the past two days
They have the drop down menu when you go to comment to select profile but it just won't recognise me on google account and keeps directing me to log in over and over and won't let me post
So thank you girls for your Fimo tips and also Shirley who has just commented incase I can't comment on yours either

  4. WOW Janet this is amazing for your first attempt - well done you! I love him or should I say her as the eyelashes look really effective. You are welcome for the tips, I just hope they helped. Take a look on Amazon for a useful book - lots being sold. Unfortunately I can't remember the titles of the 2 I had, which were really good with lots of helpful tips. Also Hobbycraft have leaflets in store next to the FIMO products if you have one in your area, if not next time I am in there I will have a look to see whats there. Hugs, Claire x

  5. Awww cute teddy Janet :-) Looks good to me!

I am also having problems leaving comments with the drop down comment box. It doesn't matter how many times I log in it still tries to post as anonymous and goes back to login in details again ... so annoying!!

  9. Hey hun, try taking the tick out of the "remember me" bit on your sign in page - it's worked for me so far. Luurrrrrve your bear, and I thought those marks WERE eyelashs! So much fun, and very clever. Hugs, Sxx

  11. Very cute. I thought the marks around the eyes were eyelashes. I got into Fimo a few years ago and made some little bears and rabbits for my daughter. It really isn't as easy as it looks but it is fun. Good luck.

  17. Hi Janet, Try Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer. I've had no probs with it.
Really cute bear! Ooooh Fimo...that takes me back. I was a Fimo addict when I was younger. I used to spend all my babysitting money on packs of Fimo, and makes fridge magnets which I would sell ((lol!!)) My Mum still has loads of them on her fridge to this day. I've often though about getting some and making some card embellishments. My daughter has asked for some for her Birthday, so I'll probably get her some and have a little play with that. If you come across any online that's well priced, could you please let me know thanks Janet! xx Jenny xx

  19. Oh Janet,it's not just me then, it's so frustrating keep having to log in time and time again, the amount of comments I've written but haven't been able to post. I Love your teddy,I definately thought you'd added rather clever eyelashes. I'm pants at baking fimo, always use the wrong gas mark so it doesn't bake correctly. Have a great week,Julie.x

  21. Well I thought his eyelashes were a really nice touch!! He really is cute, "balanced" looking which seems to be the hardest thing with Fimo. I don't have the nail-mark issue (I bite mine, I know tut tut - not going to stop at 52!!) I'm still having a few Blogger issues too, I've found if I log in to my email first it's a sort of "go round"..still a pain though. Dee
