Spring Time on the Farm

Our little granddaughter  Mimi has been staying with us for a few days.
On Friday we took her to Cotswold Farm Park which is about an hours drive from where we live.
If you have never been here before and you have young children it is well worth a visit.
As you can see Mimi got to handle some of the baby animals.
We were even allowed into the lambing shed where sheep were giving birth although we were in between seeing them actually born. One sheep was in heavy labour and had given birth to one lamb with two inside her still (they have scans just like humans).....she could have been another hour in labour so we had to move on as Mimi was getting impatient.
Two had been born just before we arrived.... their little legs were wobbling all over the place and they still had their cords swinging from their tummies......Mimi knew straight away what they were as she got a new baby brother last Christmas and she remembered him having a cord attached to his tummy button lol.
As you can see she had lots more fun feeding the animals out in the fields, driving a tractor and in the playpark!
