I thought this challenge would be ideal to give you all a sneak peak of one of my new designs being released in February over at Pink Gem Designs.

This stamp is called "Meg & Chicks". There are more stamps of Meg being released as well as some of Little Gem. Many customers fell in love with these two when I designed them for Spiral Whisper. I have had lots of requests to release more of these stamps since launching Pink Gem Designs so I hope you will enjoy them!

Same Stamp - Two Cards

I have made two cards today using the same stamp "Fox Cub" which is available from Pink Gem Designs.

The first card is a sample for a wholesale customer and the second one which I have kept fairly plain is for my dearest Dad's birthday. He likes and collects things with Foxes on but he has always been a macho man so not too sure about the flowers lol.

I just have to mention the fab service I recieved from Dies To Die For. I ordered the Martha Stewart Punch late on Friday afternoon and yesterday morning (Sat) it arrived! How's that for service? I just love this punch as it cuts easily through card stock unlike my other border punches which are very hard work on anything other than paper. I am sure you all know what I am talking about lol!

MAX & MILLY FEBUARY RELEASES

From January 15th there will be a selection of Max & Milly stamps available to buy from Pink Gem Designs. There will be 10 stamps...some new designs.....and some old favorites. Over the coming months we will be releasing more Max & Milly stamps. Some of the old favorites will be reproduced as well as brand new designs. Papertake Weekly Challenge

This is my entry for this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge. The Challenge this week is "Seeing Spots" You have to make a card using spots,dots or circles. The image I have used is my new Fox Cub stamp which is available to order from our spring releases over at Pink Gem Designs.

Anyone who visits my blog regulary will know my favorite colouring medium at the moment is Tim Holtz Distress Inks which I apply with a water brush. Another lady who likes to use distress inks to watercolour is the very talented Christine Dark. I just love the smokey backgrounds she adds to her stamp images. Christine has kindly made a video and posted it on her blog to show how she acheives her beautiful works of art. I decided after watching the video to have a go myself and above is the result! It's not too bad for a first attempt but I will need lots of practice before I reach Christines standard. X

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

My entry for this weeks A Spoonfull Of Sugar Challenge following a sketch by the very talented Nikki! I have tried distressing again..... although I am never too sure about my own attempts at this. I see some lovely ones on other peoples blogs and strive to reach the same effect. Hubby just said it looks like it's been twisted and baked in the oven so maybe thats a compliment lol!
