Introducing Fairy Sprinkles

It's my 50th birthday today.......not sure how I feel about it to be honest! These birthdays seem to come around far too quickly these days lol.

Anyway I would like to introduce you to one of my new characters Fairy Sprinkles. This stamp is called Birthday Sprinkles and will be available to buy over on Pink Gem Designs this afternoon. We are just waiting for the stamps to arrive from the manufacturer. There will be two other Sprinkles stamps as well as some new never seen before Max & Milly stamps.

Hope they won't be too long as we are going out to lunch after they arrive to celebrate my birthday. I am also going for a meal with some girlfriends tonight....... so lettuce leaves tomorrow I think lol!

A Spoon Full Of Sugar - Shape Shifters

My entry for this weeks A Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge. The theme this week is "Shape Shifters". You have to create a card with a different shape other than the usual square which we all make. I have had these triangular card blanks for a while and this challenge gave me the opportunity to use one! lol. I must make more as I quite like the result. I have used my Mrs Hoot stamp which is available from Pink Gem Designs. I have coloured her with distress inks.

A card sample for a work shop to follow so the card has been kept fairly simple. I have used Pirate Mimi stamp which is available at Pink Gem Designs. Mimi has been coloured using Ciao Copic Markers.

Cute Card Thursday

My entry for this weeks Cute Card Thursday and the theme this week is "Signs of Spring". I have used my new stamp Little Gem In Bee Suit available at Pink Gem Designs. These stamps are proving to be very popular! The image has been coloured with Tim Holtz Distress inks and the wings have had Stickles Glitter Glue added to them. As you can see my New Martha Stewart Valentine Lace Punch had it's first outing today......about five minutes after the postie delivered it! I just happened to be in the middle of making this card at the time.....coincidense or maybe a sixth sense? lol.

Colour Create

My entry for this weeks Colour Create. The colour theme this week is Peach & Aqua with an added option of "do it yourself flowers" punch, stamp, die cut etc. As long as you make them yourself. I have used Fairy Mimi stamp which is avaiable from Pink Gem Designs. Mimi has been coloured with distress inks and stickles glitter glue......went a bit OTT with this. don't you just hate it when you do something to your card then wish you hadn't lol.
