Meg meets Friday Sketchers

I have used my 'Meg with Chicks' & 'Easter Wishes' sentiment stamp which are available at Pink Gem Designs

Meg & the sentiment have been stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa (love this!) and coloured with Prisma pencils and blended with Sansador

Bunny Milly

Well the Easter eggs are in the shops so I thought I would make an Easter card today!

I have used 'Bunny Milly' and the round 'Easter Sentiment' which are from Pink Gem Designs

I once read if you stamp your images in brown ink rather than black they look softer

I have tried it but never been happy.....probably because I couldn't find a dark enough brown.

Well I have stamped Milly and the sentiment with Memento Rich Cocoa.........and it's just the right shade of brown........I love it and will definately use it again

The image has been coloured with Ciao Copics and glamour dust added to her bunny suit

We have Momento Ink in Tuxedo Black and Rich Cocoa. These are fab to stamp your images if you are colouring with Copics, Promarkers or pencils with Sansador because the lines won't bleed.

We also have Versafine Onyx Black which is fab for watercolouring!

Speaking of watercolouring we now also stock a range of Tim Holtz Distress Inks

If you are a regular visitor to my blog you will know that watercolouring with Distress Inks is one of my favorite methods of colouring. There is  a tutorial by me on the Pink Gem Designs website!

A Gem of a Challenge!

I have recieved lots of emails from customers and some of my DT girls have been asking when am I going to start a Pink Gem Designs Challenge??

Well I am  so busy with the business just now so........ Mandy has kindly agreed to run it for me with the help of and support of my other lovely DT girls of course

It starts on the 8th of February and will be monthly at first just to see how it goes.
