Challenge 20

Well wasn't the 'Wedding' just lovely yesterday

Made the mistake of trying to make my DT yesterday......planned to do it in the morning before 'The Wedding' started but something else cropped up

So the result was a very rushed DT card yesterday afternoon with no inky edges or fingers in sight!

All ready coloured this little fellow about a week back and didn't know what to do with him

He had been sitting on my shelf propped against a photo frame watching me craft.......so he got quickly snaffled to save some time

I used my new papers 'Sugar & Spice' which I had finished making 'early' yesterday morning

When I say 'early' I mean about 5am lol!

Really pleased with these papers.....you can read about them in the post below

As you can see the  spotty background paper almost looks like toweling......looks great printed on linen card/paper

So the result was a very quick made clean looking card.......and all in all I am pleased with it!

I have known me spend hours on cards and still not like them when I have finished. lol

I must apologize for my absence in blogland lately........blame it on the weather!

It is just too nice to be indoors making cards and blog hopping

I have however managed to make some new download papers for my 'Colour Collection' range.

I tend to make these in the early hours of the morning when I can't sleep

Those of you who already have some of my 'Colour Collections' will know that they all come in the same 20 colours so you can mix and match them together

These four which I have just created are my 'Fleur De Lis' range

They look superb printed out especialy the stripey one!

These will go onsale as soon as hubby does his website thing

He is at work at the moment though and is very tied up

I have just got back from my Tesco shop and it's all unpacked...... so I am off to top up my tan lol!

Weight Loss - Update

Some of you may remember me starting a diet a while back.........well it's been 2 months now and I have lost 8lb. I am a bit dissapointed as I have been really good......thought I would have shed a stone by now. I could do that when I was young but I think age and metabolism play a big part now........never mind I will keep on plodding in the right direction......only 6lb to go :)

I managed to do it myself in the end without joining WW online or a meeting

I made my own background paper by slapping on some Crackle Paint around the edges of some white corded card

The square behind the Floral Doily Motif was stamped with pink butterfly stamps although these are mostly covered up

The image has been watercoloured with distress inks

Crackle Embellishments

I just love making these 'Crackle Paint' Embellishments

You will have noticed them on nearly every card I make these days.....I have a 'Crackle Addiction' lol!

I prepared a lot yesterday and left them to dry overnight

This morning I added distress ink around the edges and pearls

We call them 'Biscuits' on the Do Craft Forum as they look like iced biscuits
