Cupcake Teddy

I promised myself an afternoon of crafting today but wanted to get some housework done first

Well it was about 3.30pm by the time I finished my jobs and I felt jaded and not much like crafting

I went into the craft room for something and this little cutie which I had coloured the other day was staring up at me

Well I started to play and suddenly felt re-energised and managed to make a card just before tea time

Now we all favour our square cards don't we........ so this is a good challenge to make us do something 'different' for a change and bring us out our comfort zones

Well I have had a right annoying day today craft wise

First card I made went into the bin....not a CAS one either as it took me ages to make

Ripped all the bits off before I threw it away of course......I felt it just didn't cut the mustard if you know what I mean lol

Left me feeling a bit drained afterwoulds.....card making always does even though I enjoy it

Anyway I then  had a go at the new challenge 'Less Is More' and this week you have to make a one layered card with the image off the edge
I used my 'Funky flower' stamp set again as I thought these would fit the challenge
This proved more troublesome than I thought too....I am just not with it today!

For A Little Princess!

It's my little grandaughter Mimi's 4th bithday next week so I have made her this card

I have got busy with the crackle paint again and painted around the edge of a Nestie to make a crackle frame for the image

The crackle heart has had glamour dust added to the cracks in between the paint

My new Craft Joy daisy die has also had it's first outing today too!

The sentiment is new and will be released next week
