Papertake Weekly / Cute Card Thursday

My Entry for this weeks Papertake Weekly following a sketch by the lovely Dawny......I am also entering my card for Cute Card Thursday where the theme this week is 'New Beginings'. I have used my 'Baby Girl Bundle' Stamp which is available at Pink Gem designs. The image has been coloured with Ciao Copic Markers for the babies skin and Koh - i - noor woodless pencils for the rest.

Christmas Blessings/Stamptacular Sunday

I am entering this card into this weeks Stamptacular Sunday Challenge where the theme this week is 3D. I have used 'Nativity Milly', 'Nativity Max',' Nativity Donkey' & the sentiment 'Christmas Blessings' which are all available at Pink Gem Designs. I have used an 8" X 8" card this time. I prefer square cards but sometimes there is not enough room on a 6" X 6" to get a good sized stamp and sentiment to fit. The images have been coloured with Ciao Copic Markers and I have paper peiced Milly's veil and Max's coat. I also added a bit of distress ink to them to match the paper

Papertake Weekly / Autumn Milly

My Entry for this weeks Papertake Weekly Following another fab sketch by the wonderful Dawny. I have used my new Autumn Milly stamp which has just been released at Pink Gem Designs......see her here. She is one of 10 new stamps with an Autumn/Halloween theme. We even have a 'Guy Fawkes Milly'.
Autumn Milly was one of the first designs I came up with when I started designing for another stamp company last year. Sales of this stamp was so good that I designed a Winter Milly then in the spring when I launched my own business I came up with Spring Milly. It seemed natural then as summer approached that I should design a Summer Milly to complete the set of Milly sitting on the log throughout the four seasons. Autumn Milly and Winter Milly are now re-released through Pink Gem Designs and are proving very popular. Winter Milly has sold out twice since we released her at the end of May. We have just recieved new stocks but how long they will last I can't say as we have sold lots already.

Look What I Recieved Today

I recieved this lovely card and gift in the post today from an old schoolfriend who had bought some of my stamps. She made these with 'Sunflower Sprinkles' & 'Frog Prince'. The Watering can had chocolates in it too......but not anymore yum!!

New DT Girl!

Pink Gem Designs has a new addition to it's DT. It's the fabulous and extremely talented Debby Yates from A Scrapjourney
I asked Debby last night if she would like to join us on the team and she said yes.......I am sooo excited! When I first started card making in October 2007 I came accross Debby's blog and I found it truely amazing and very inspiring. If you have never visited Debby then pop across and take a look you won't be dissapointed!!

A Lovely Weekend!

We went up to a sunny Gt Manchester for the weekend to look after our two year old Grandaughter Mimi while her parents had a weekend break. On Saturday we collected our other two grandchildren and we all had a lovely day out. Here are a few pics of our day......Just look at those lovely Lancashire hills in the background......how I miss them lol!
On a sad note we have to say good bye to Judy one of our DT girls. She is on the team of another stamp company now who do not allow their DT girls to work for other stamp companies so it is our loss and their gain. We do wish her lots of success and would like to thank her for the fantastic contribution she made to Pink Gem Designs in the short time she was with us. Judys cards are truly beautiful and she has some featured in this months Issue of Craft Stamper which she is showing on her blog so pop over and take a look

Cheeky Little Devil & News!

Another Halloween Sneak Peak........'Devil Max'........ he is one of the 10 Halloween/Autumn Designs about to be released from Pink Gem Designs next week. Please excuse my lack of cardmaking but I am on 'Mimi Duty' at this moment in time. I am looking after my 2yr old grandaughter Mimi as her parents are having a weekend break. Normal service will resume on Monday lol! New Halloween & the Christmas stamps which are out of stock arrive Tuesday and they will be available for sale on the website on Tuesday evening X
